Diesel Injector Cleaner - Complete Description

The Marine 16 Fuel Additive DIC - Diesel Injector Cleaner is a "one shot" single fuel treatment to remove harmful deposits in the fuel pump and injectors of diesel engines. Added directly to the tank at the rate of 100ml per 100 litres (1000ppm) of fuel.

Diesel Injector Cleaner-DIC cleans fuel line and injector deposits providing a cleaner, easier starting engine. Diesel Injector Cleaner-DIC reduces emissions, improves fuel consumption and any present smoke from exhausts.

If your engine is smoking we recommend you use Diesel Injector Cleaner-DIC before calling an engineer to remove your injectors etc. Smoking is often due to gumming and lacquering of fuel components which develop over time, or from using degraded fuel. Applying our Diesel Injector Cleaner in the first instance may be more cost-effective than removing injectors unnecessarily.

Having cleaned the system with Diesel Injector Cleaner-DIC we recommend you use the fuel additive Diesel Fuel Complete to keep your fuel clean and free of diesel bug.
